This stamps were issued to support Croatian Legion fighting on the Eastern Front. Using these stamps was obligatory in July and August 1943 for all domestic postal use.
Stamps was printed in two runs and total quantities after destroying unsold stamps were:

There are slight differences in color between first and second run, especially in Mi 107 and Mi 110.
Stamps were printed in sheets of 100 stamps.

This issue is most known for the largest number of color proofs from all Croatian issues 1941-45.

Imperforated stamps printed on thick carton paper and on coarse brown paper also exist.

Blocks
Together with solo stamps blocks were also released. Design of the stamps in the block is the same but in different colors.

Blocks were also printed in two runs and there are also slight differences in colors between the two runs. Also, a perforated block from the first run has 32 perforated holes in the vertical line vs. 33 holes in the second run.

Minister albums
In the Minister albums exist imperforated stamps, vertically imperforated, one phase proof and six different color proofs for each stamp.
Blocks exist with only vertically imperforated and with only one, two or three stamps and also some phase proofs of blocks. Both of the blocks also exist on thinner gray paper and also proof blocks on a shiny paper or on a yellowish brown paper.
