This stamp was issued in support of an exhibition of the same name in Zagreb, and the two-kuna surcharge was intended to help finance the exhibition.

The stamp was printed in a plate of 100 stamps (whole plates are now very rare).

500,000 issued

Total quantity of issued stamps was 500,000 but only 139,626 were sold and the rest of them were officially destroyed.

This issue has lots of double perforations, strongly moved perforations, vertically and horizontally non-perforated stamps, and imperforated stamps.

Minister albums of this issue exist with perforated, non-perforated and only horizontally or vertically perforated plates of 100.

There are no color proofs for this issue.

FDC of this issue exist but with a different dates on the cancellation representing day of the sale on the exibition.

Vignette with a same motif but imperforated with a different colors and size exist and it is actually the only NDH official vignette.

Maxim Card with the same colors and motif as the vignette exists. There is also an MC in a gray color, but this one is very rare.
