10.IV.1942 - Mi 78-80 - First anniversary of the NDH

Three stamps from the 1941 Landscape set were chosen to be used for this issue.
This time printed in different colors and with inprint of the NDH anniversary date.

Stamps were printed in a quantity of 250.000, but they were not all sold. Unsold stamps were destroyed.

Mi 80	10 Kn	green-black	246.454 issued

Stamps were printed in plates of 100 stamps in a tete-beche position, same as in the 1941 landscape issue. But, postal authorities ordered to separate all plates into a 50 stamps blocks, so tethe-beche pairs come only in the Minister albums and they are very, very rare.

Graver’s mark

On this issue, graver’s mark is a letter “A” on the stamp Mi 80, placed in two different positions on the stamp.

Perforations

Imperforated stamps without overprints exist and also imperforated with overprints but they are rare, especially Mi 80. All of this proofs and imperforations could be also find in a tete-beche positions.

As a printer’s waste it could be find imperforated Mi 79 with a brown overprint, double overprint and double tete beche overprint and also proofs of overprints in a brown color.
