This issue was planned for the late summer of 1945, and it was to be a continuation of the Prominent Croatians series, but it was still in the form of essays when the war ended.
There are imperforated essays with different values, and it is for sure that the values of the issued stamps would be different because values of 1-3 kn were too small for any postal use. It is still not clear if only 3 or 4 stamps were planned to be issued or a all 6.
Existing essays of Prominent Croats are:
| 1 | 1 kn | Andrija Medulić |
| 2 | 2 kn | Ivan Gundulić |
| 3 | 2 kn | Julije Klović |
| 4 | 30 kn | Eugen Kvaternik |
| 5 | 40 kn | Dr. Ante Starčević |
| 6 | 50 kn | Dr. Stjepan Radić |
This essays are found in different colors, and it is still unknown how many stamps, which colors and which values were predicted for the new issue of the Prominent Croats.
