07.VI.1943 – Mi 103-105 – Famous Croats – Zrinski and Frankopan families

Design : I. Rezek – K. Seizinger. Perforation: L 12 ½,  but this issue has a large number of perforation variations due to wartime difficulties.

Stamps were printed in two editions, first one in 500.000 and then the second one so total quantities are:

Stamps were printed in sheets of 100 stamps.

Perforations

Perforation errors are not known for this issue.
Imperforated stamps exist as well as Mi 103 imperforated on yellowish paper ( from one variant of the Minister album).

Color proofs

Three color proofs for each stamp in shades of the issued color come from the Minister albums.

Graver’s proofs

Imperforated graver’s proofs of Karl Seizinger in different colors also exist, but they are very rare.
